Access to quality, 24/7 care
Arizonans for Better Healthcare was formed to strengthen patients’ access to high-quality, life-saving healthcare 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every day of the year.
We are a community of grassroots advocates who recognize the complexity of providing 24/7, life-saving healthcare for all Arizonans. We make it clear that our leaders in Arizona and Washington need to strengthen and protect access to 24/7 patient care — not let special interests put patient care at risk.

What We Do
Protect coverage & access: We champion policies that preserve AHCCCS (Medicaid) and safeguard care for children, seniors, people with disabilities and working families.
Convene stakeholders: When Arizona needs an informed path forward, Arizonans for Better Healthcare leads provider‑driven engagement, surveys and focus groups to surface real‑world needs - most recently for the Arizona Rural Health Transformation Plan.
Mobilize communities: We pair credible data with compelling stories to help Arizonans and their elected leaders understand what’s at stake.
How We Work
Coalition‑based: We align statewide partners behind clear priorities and coordinated action.
Data‑informed: We use research and provider input to shape practical, bipartisan solutions.
People‑first: We elevate patient and clinician voices to keep policy focused on care and outcomes.
